I own a specwar 762

Got lucky with my stag arms model 3 and it runs like a top. Although filthy. I have an adjustable GB for my 8" 300blk Frankenstein pistol and it runs at full gas both supers both without the can and with the can and subs with the can. Awesome.

I want to get a 11.5" in 5.56 and I really love the screaming deals on Bravocompany right now. But is it irresponsible to invest in anything other than adjustable gas block uppers like MOA. I really would like that BRAVO upper but I don't want to do the gunsmith shuffle again. I am sure micromoa and Bravocompany products are top.

tl,dr= Specwar 762 do I need to get an adjustable gas block upper from the outset or can I just go with a 11.5 Bravo company.

I have an 11.5" noveske in 5.56 and it runs fine with my specwar 762 with only a h2 buffer.

Personal preference....Yes, there is less gas in the face when running a 762 can on a 556 host but there is still considerable back pressure which may not be as obvious as with a 556 can.

Running adjustable, you can immediately feel a reduction in recoil and slower cycling.

See video below and see that their is still over a 300 RPM increase in the RoF running a 762 Specwar on full gas.  RoF surprisingly close to running a 556 can in full gas.
