| I've got plenty of other cans, but I'm kinda wanting an NT4 to complete one of my Mk18's. They seem to be in short supply. Any leads on where I might find one? |

Save some money. New one in the EE.
http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_7_118/1365144_WTS_KAC_QDSS_NT4_in_flat_dark_earth_with_mount__1100.html ETA: looking at the ad, I think it's on a F4, not a 3. Kinda defeats that purpose. Sorry! |

Never ordered from here, and it looks like it'd be a PITA as it's not in stock there, so you'd wait on 2 Form 3's .

Cracks me up. I had these in-stock years ago, could not give them away. A movie comes out, and they are suddenly unobtanium. Obligatory image of my M4/NT4. http://i839.photobucket.com/albums/zz314/Umbrarian/Guns/Colt-M4.jpg Quoted:

Heavy, loud, and expensive. Yes, they are built like tanks, but no one is out there melting their AAC or Surefire and wishing they had an NT4. |

The NT4 is god there and the Surefire RC wears out almost instantly....... I think I've decided to skip the NT4. I've got four Surefire SOCOM's of various configs coming in. That'll hold me. |

Expensive? Yep
Old outdated tech? Yep Hard to find? Yep Been to war since 1998? Yep Proven like no other suppressor? Yep And that is exactly why I said to hell with logic and rational arguments against her. You only live once op. Get it! I just sent in my form 4. Here is a good video. Not mine

Not gonna lie... that's a sexy looking can. Navy still use it? Or are they using something else? Just deployed with one in 2013, and my unit wasn't slated to replace them until 2018. As someone that used one on a two way range, I would never buy one for personal use. My biggest issues weren't the subpar suppression or weight, like a lot of people complain about. It was the flash signature and poi shift. The flash signature leftover when running m193 was substantial compared to a lot of other cans and the whole reason we even used them was to reduce our flash signature not to be quiet. The POI was pretty bad, but normally I could deal with that. My m42000 isn't great but it is consistent. The NT4 would be three inches down and right at 100" during qualifying, and next time I put it one it would be two inches left and up. Granted, you still knew you were going to hit minute of man, and that is fine for a combat situation, but on my personally owned guns, I'd rather have a conversation about moa not minute of man. YMMV |
