I've been through this thread and hopefully I'm not just missing it. Has anyone located a C Cell tube that's shorter that the one SD sells? The only one I've seen on their site is over 8" and now SD and Apogee now sell various sizes of D Cell, hoping to find different size of C cell as well.

In the "Ryan's Ultimate Flashlight...." thread you will see a C Cell Tube I build using a product from Diversified Machine and details on how to order. It is sold in whatever length you choose with improved ends (lighter weight, hollow for move internal volume, improved thread length, shorter length) for $65 shipped. There are some pics and videos (comparing it to a commercial can) of my 5.4" Tube (6" OAL) in the thread. |
