| I'm building a QD suppressor. Which QD mount would you use. I want the mount to work as a flash hider/brake. I would appreciate any suggestions. I am not making my own mounts. I am using factory mounts to save time. |

I have seen those but am really looking for a "thread protector" along the lines of allowing it to interface with an an end cap...wondering if the YHM TP could be OD threaded to do so...I want something that will allow me to use my YHM QD mounts with a FORM 1 DIY suppressor...like this...to allow me to use SDTA or other parts to FORM 1... 
Also...if anoyone out there has one of these adn a YHM QD...will they match up? I have IM'd and used SDTA contact page to ask hand have not received an answer... The SSS Brake Shield seems like it would work but the OD of the shield is out of round and I am hesitant to try to weld it to a SS tube and have a concentric bore aligned system as a final result...

| I ordered one of these to check out Kineti Tech muzzle 2 piece brake Going to use it on a 6.8 build, figured I could make a mount to use it with a form 1 build. Outer threads are 13/16x16 (same as the "solvent trap" oil filter adapters) Use coupon "shipfree" for free priority mail shipping if you want one. |
