Looking to start stocking up on some subsonic 9mm.  I bought some 147gr Federal Premium Hydra Shock.  Is that any good?  Also picked up some Remington 147gr UMC for plinking.  Let me know if these 2 are worth a damn, and if not, what should I be getting.  I have awhile, as I just paid for the suppressor yesterday.
Thanks

I like the 147gr I got from Georgia Arms. It's functioned fine in everything I've tried.

I also have some Federal Munitions 147gr that works fine in my 7" AR. With my Glock and 45Osprey combo, I had several issues. Haven't headed back out with the combo to see if I can narrow it down to ammo/magazine/etc.

You really can't go wrong with any of the 147's from the big manufacturers.  A lot of guy swear by Special K by Alabama Ammo.  Some love the 158gr stuff Fiocchi, but I haven't seen that stuff around in a long time.

Personally, I like Magtech's 147gr TMJ and Rem Golden Sabers 147gr JHP.  The FMJ's I like because of the local price and availability.  The JHP's are my favorite because of their terminal performance and they feed well in everything I've got.

I tried some subsonic stuff.  147 grain. The Remington HP did the best.  I also tried the winchester in the grey box and hated it.   Too many feeding problems in my AR 9mm.   Recently, I choroned some Ranier arms hollow points and I really like them.  The cycle great.   I don't think you have to buy premium stuff.  I think what fires best in your pistol or AR platform is best.   Seems flat tips didn't work well for me.

I have used the blue tip 158 gr IMI ammo and it was great out of both the pistol and MP-5 with suppressor. This should work great so I just ordered some.

I've Used a lot of subsonic to find the right combo for my glock/osprey combo
Georgia arms 147, I had 2 FTf suppressed out of a whole case so it was worth it IMHO
Winchester train and defend 147 is ok
Fiocci 158 is very quiet
HPR emcon 147 is the quietest I've shot by far
American eagle 147 is the loudest of the subsonic I've shot but I bought a couple cases for $250/ea so it's also the cheapest

UN AMMO CO is advertising lots of 158 grain compares it to Fiocchi. ~$320 for 1,000.

I have heard the 158 gr Fiocchi is some of the best.  I usually use 147 gr Freedom Munitions New or Reman.  I haven't had issues with either one.  I've used them in a suppressed G19, G17, P226 MK25, and a full-auto suppressed AR, no hiccups.  I usually wait for a free shipping promo (they have one every two months or so) and stock up then.  If you are a new customer you can get free shipping on your first order with the code freeship514.

Special K, DocDater Recipe, or Remington UMC is what I use.

I tried some of the Rem 147gr JHP out of my 19 with an HTA G9 and about every fourth one FTE.  I am thinking about trying a 15 pound spring, down from the standard 16, and see if it works.
