Is the 22 sparrow a good one to get? is it quiet?

Rifle or pistol?
.22lr only or other rimfire calibers?
I bought a spectre II to be used on multiple rimfire calibers

It's a good one to start with. May not be the absolute quietest on handguns, but it's durable, easy to service and has a company with great customer service behind it.

Yes it is very quiet and awesome. It's also pretty small and light.

I have both the Sparrow and Specter II. You can't go wrong with either and both are super easy to clean. Sparrow is shorter but fatter than the Specter II and may make a difference in using sights on a 22lr pistol.

OP: will you just be shooting .22lr or do you need the capability of shooting .22wmr, .17hmr, 5.7? etc

Another positive vote for the Sparrow for me. I love mine. Very quiet on both rifle and handgun.
