I don't have one yet ( Mine's in Jail) but being currious about this, I went to youtube and they have several videos on how to go about it...

Carbon?  Simple green and a few bore brushes.  12ga, I think, works on the inner liners.

The dip method.

1/2 white vinegar
1/2 peroxide

Read up on the safety and disposable precautions. Only use on the core. No tube or back cap.
The lead and carbon will wipe off with a papertowel.

How many times did you dip it?  It killed mine after a few.  They disintegrated.  No big deal....new ones are cheap.
