I searched and didn't find anything on these. I read up on them a bit by googling it.
I'm in the need for a new muzzle device for my m16. I had a Brakeout on the last upper and liked it alot. Now, I would put another on there, but I wanted to see if there was a real benefit to this new device. Basically, does it have the same sacrificial baffle ability for cans? I assume it functions better in terms of reducing felt recoil and flash, but I don't want to sacrifice the sacrificial baffle for a marginal increase in performance. And no, I don't want to put a true brake on it. |
| I stuck one on a 14.5" upper and it works well at recoil reduction. AAC claims that it is similar to the Brakeout 1.0 in that it is better than a Blackout FH for suppressor life, but not as good as their 2 port dedicated brake. Whether it is better than the Brakeout 1.0 as a sacrificial baffle, I have no idea. |

i'll try to get you a pic but it has the same "sacrificial baffle" as a blackout flash hider , or i'm guessing a brakeout also.
edit : here's a short review tangodown1881 did not long ago , he has pics in his thread http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_6_51/422653_AAC_Brakeout_2_0_for_your_SBR.html |
