I am putting the specwar fh on an AR and was going to use red loctite, can't find Rocksette around and going shooting tomorrow.  Is this the right one?  How best to apply it?  Thanks.

You can use it but it will break down when it gets hot. Rocksett is rated for much higher temps. That's why it's used to install muzzle devices. I use heat all the time to break locktite lose.

Well, I will have to use it for tomorrow and order Rocksette from somewhere.

Will the red loctite be okay for a day of shooting with a suppressor on?  No mags dumps.

I personally wouldn't worry about it to much if it is torqued good. Depending on how many rounds I was shooting, I'd let the barrel cool periodically and check it, especially using a suppressor.

For one day, just leave the locktite off.

I might be mistaken but it actually looks like it is back in stock.  I will let you know if it ships after I order.
