A while back graysonp inquired about Mag Tactical Systems line of suppressors and I chimed in since I had some first hand knowledge of them. Here is a link to the archived thread Link

I wanted to give an update and a warning. December of 2012 I set up a demo for Mag Tactical and a local Police Department ended up buying 9 suppressors from them (eight 5.56 and one 7.62), Mag Tactical also offered to thread the agencies sniper rifle for free. If you read my responses to graysonp in the archived thread you will see where I briefly detailed some issues with the company and product. Here, a year later, the PD is still having problems with the suppressors. The PD has continually had to return the suppressors for faulty welds and misaligned baffles. Suppressors have been sent back continuously over the last year, when they are returned the PD would be lucky to get one that would not blow apart or experience a baffle strike. Mag Tactical Systems will not return phone calls from the agency, they will not correspond via email or regular mail; the suppressors are returned, allegedly repaired, in a box with whatever letter the PD sent with them. As it stand today the PD has, over the span of a year, managed to get all but 2 functional suppressors.

I issued an apology on my Facebook page because I had 44 friends who "Liked" Mag Tactical Systems and 24 friends who were also "Friends" with their salesman. I did this because I felt I might be responsible for steering them to Mag Tactical and I'm doing the same here. I didn't really endorse them but I at one time did like their page and share a few of their postings so I wanted this information out there in case anyone may have found their way to Mag Tactical due to something I said or posted.

I would highly recommend steering clear of this company an it's suppressors.

Thanks for the update. I never did order any of their suppressors to demo/test, and after reading your experiences, I'm glad I didn't. There are too many quality suppressors on the market, made by reputable companies with great support. It's not worth trying to save $200 at the expense of quality and customer service.
