Just ordered a SilencerCo Specwar 5.56. Now I guess I just wait...

First suppressor for me and you guys were right, it was very easy through SilencerShop.

Is there anything I should do to my LMT 16" Carbine to prep? Or is it "suppressor ready" as is?

You're going to need to file  a form 1 to SBR that lmt first of all

You'll want an SBR trust me.

The 16" will suffice for the time being.

I did the opposite.
I've got an 11.5" (started with 10,3") and now i've got my first can pending, although it's .22lr

My buddy has three 556 cans in jail right now and he's the only one I ever shoot with. I'll get a 556 eventually but I figured I should start with the "awesome" cans.

Start your SBR process NOW. Trust me, you'll feel retarded after putting a full-size can at the end of a 16" barrel.

Yep, I agree with you guys and have already been looking and have settled on a 12.5 BCM.

I knew it would look kinda funny on the 16" but figured I'd start my order with what I didn't have first.

Money money money....

This is your response in an NFA subforum?

I'm just busting your balls

Yeah, SBR it while you're waiting on the can.

I'm still waiting for Silencer Shop to tell me the Form 3 has been approved so I can get my Form 4 mailed. I ordered a Specwar 7.62 and something inside me tells me I should have ordered the 5.56 Specwar instead.

Stock up on ammo while prices and product are somewhat stable.

I was running one of my 12.5 Mid-lengths over the weekend and like it a lot more than my 10.5's.

I compared running the new Saker brake on both the 12.5 Mid and 10.5 carbine and it noticeably smoother on the 12.5 mid.  Muzzle barely moves.  More pleasant to shoot and suppressed, the 12.5 is also a lot quieter than the 10.5.

Really need to order a SBR now, or just take the plunge and buy a M16 :)
