I pulled a silencer I have pending, priced it on both sites, AAC element 2, $90 cheaper at Silencershop. 7.62 SDN-6 , $200 cheaper swr specwar $250 cheaper go ahead use them instead. |

If I lived in Texas, I would have to have my checks direct deposited into Silencershop's account. Shhh, I'm overdue .
To the OP, Why? Really you will just be getting higher prices elsewhere....even their customer service is great. Is it an issue of selection or current inventory? |
|
Prices are almost the same, much better deals than the first alternative. |
|
I just recently purchased through Torrey. I can highly recommend them without any reservations. He's GTG!!! |
|
I would strongly caution against dealing with Silenced America.
My experiences with them were consistently disappointing. Poor communication, poor follow-through. It was like pulling teeth to get them to take my money and update me on things. I've heard that things aren't greatly improved, which is too bad. I understand that Scott Bittner may well be busy in his capacity as President of the American Silencer Association, and I appreciate that kind of advocacy work, but it's no excuse for customer service to suffer. |

I have to agree 100%, I purchased my Sparrow through them and while I had no issues communication wasn't always there strong suit. I also have a co-worker who purchased through them and they forgot to actually send in his forms.

Why are you telling me? my dealer goes to majormalfunction to get me what I want. I don't use either. He wants a to look at other shops, let him look. |

I've had nothing but great dealings with these guys. Scott seems to be extremely busy, but has always done a great job taking care of me. Joshua is one of the nicest and most helpful guys I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He filled out my AAC rebate and mailed it in when I bought my SDN-6 can from them back in October. They have also e-filed my form 1's for me and of course my form 4's. Their prices have always been the same as Silencer Shop for the cans I have purchased. They also have a low price guarantee so if they were more expensive, I would let them know about it. Absolutely nothing against Silencer Shop. Just wanted to say how impressed I have been with Silenced America. |

I'm not sure where you're getting your numbers, except maybe you're looking at SA's listing of MSRP which is NOT what they sell at. They have been the same price as SS for all the cans I have purchased from them. They also have a low price guarantee. |

Sorry you are correct, I made an assumption that they would price on the site, I was wrong. |

Does it have anything to do with the topic over on the snipershide forum? I've read nothing but good things about Silencer Shop business transactions and PRICE! I don't know but whoever authored the thread on the Hide must be part of the FSA!
I sure wouldn't go on any forum and post that.

BigDozer66 Is this the same thread where the dude is ridiculously bent out of shape because they hand-wrote a correction on his Form 4 rather than typed it out so he threw a major 5 year old fit that it wasn't a "typed official form"? ETA: Silencer Shop is superb. I'd honestly like to know the OP's reason for wanting another dealer. |
| I've bought two suppressors from silencershop...the experience couldn't have been better. I'm planning on making a 3rd and 4th purchase from them ASAP too. Frankly, even if Silencershop happened to be a little more expensive on a particular suppressor that I was looking at, I'd still buy it from them. Their reputation and CS is worth more to me than a few bucks. |
|
I have purchased 3 cans from SS (2 already fulfiled, one is still in NfA jail)
Nothing but good things to say about them. Hell, back before Dave had the storefront I drove 5 hrs to meet him at his house to pick up my cans. Nothing but A++ service, friendly and knowledgable people, and IT IS ALL HE DOES!!! If not SS, then SilencedAmerica would be my next choice. Scott is good people. |

This is my vote. They are about a half a mile from my house so I may be biased. |

The OP owes us an explanation as to why he doesn't want to do business with one of the most popular silencer shops in the entire known universe? There must be a reason, and some of us would like to know what it is? |

Sometimes I felt like I was a bother. Scott, if you are listening, take note. I tried for quite some time to get a suppressor that was supposed to arrive any day. I sent several emails that were not responded to in regards to getting one in. Probably sent one a week to see if any new stock arrived. Then Finally, I priced one on silencershop and they had it in stock. I just wanted to deal with someone local, since I lived in Dallas. So, I picked up the phone one last time and Scott answered the phone. It was like someone opened a window and fresh air flowed in. He took my order, waited on the phone while I emailed my trust over and he filled out the online form with me on the phone. I gave credit card number and it was done.....don't know why it was so hard before but I do like dealing with Scott. I would like to get another 22LR suppressor but I might try silcerncershop since they always have stuff in stock whereas silencedamerica is hit hit and miss. Glad you guys are doing ok with silerncershop. Edit: Just purchased from silencershop. If you have your trust on PDF ready to go, it literally took me 5 minutes to pay, upload and submit the information. Guy told me that it would go pending tonight. That was pretty easy. |

Ya they advertise their prices online. Their prices are always with $10 ofSilencershops, sometimes cheaper, sometimes more. |

Why the fuck do any of YOU care where he does business? He asked for other choices, are some of you unable to understand English? Why do people have to start shit when it affects them in no way, shape or form?
Personally, I do all by business with Silenced America. They have a shop less than 5 miles from my office. Joshua has always been extremely helpful. They E Filed all my forms both for some SBRs that I built and of course the suppressors I bought there. Their prices in shop are virtually the same as those at Silencer Shop. Good luck OP. |
