Already up to quoting 6 months on the wait time. Sucks but it seems like the 3 month ship has probably sailed. 6 months on what? eFile? It has only been active since August, ie 4 months. I'm guessing the eFile system is getting more and more applications and they know they won't be able to maintain the 3 month approval time much longer. I Think they only have 1 examiner working on them, with the rest dedicated to paper forms. |

With paper forms being quoted at 15 months, I bet there is quite the rush to eForms. It will be interesting to see how them times balance out and how the ATF decides to allocate examiners. The line sure ain't getting any shorter. |

A NCIS check and pay the tax at the time of purchase should be sufficient. |

Kinda missed the point of the comment. LOL. Well I've got one on paper that is quoted at 6 months out and one on eform that's quoted 4 months out. We'll see how it goes. The shift to Eforms probably won't really help my paper form since it's already 5 months in but I'm hoping that the new examiners they hired will be up to speed and start moving quicker next year. Remember it's the holidays so most of these folks are probably on vacation... I bet you that office has like 6 people in it. After the new year I'm guessing we see paper and eform approvals go up. At least that's my hope... fingers crossed. I'm pretty sure I have one of the new examiners, couldn't find her name anywhere on NFA tracker. Let's hope she's a fast learner. |

Pickles isn't the only one. |
