Thank's to 11bravo01, I'm now hooked onto doing the motions on starting the path for a purchase. I'm not new to the AR, but I am new to what to get.

I'm wanting to use a BattleComp 2.0 as I'm sold on it's performance; I have two 1.5's onto two 14.5's already. Now knowing that I'm limited to the GemTech HALO and the AAC Omni because of the comp choice I've made, which one is better in your experience, and what length should I get barrel wise for the SBR I plan on mounting it to for a good match?

Thanks in advance for your time and opinions.

AAC Omni...that's a blast from the past.  It's been a bit since I heard about the Omni.  Do they even still make those or your dealer have old stock?

Yeah, I'm a noob at silencers. I was just told that they aren't being sold anymore, and neither is the other one.

Xcoastie's friend's had an interesting discussion with me about the SFMB-556, and suggesting I give it a try, but is it for Surefire cans only? I'd like to be able to take off and use the SBR either way, but I'm a bit lost. I want a can acceptable comp with next to no muzzle flip like the Battlecomp, and the Surefire one was suggested as next in line in the same performance, but I don't have that kind of cash for a Surefire can at a grand plus.
