I have recently Acquired a Marlin 30-30 Lever action. Mostly as a fun gun, but to do some close range deer hunting, and was wondering if I could thread the Barrel and run a .308 supressor on it. I don't know much about supressors, thats why I am asking you guys.

I have a friend that reloads and was thinking we could load some subsonic rounds and have some good fun with this thing.

30 cal is 30 cal.  Yes, you can suppress the 30.30.  Have fun!!!

Yes it can be done but it will change the fud name of 30-30 to Dirty-30
