[ARCHIVED THREAD] - M&P threaded Barrel Question

My Liberty Mystic form was just approved. I need to pick up a threaded barrel for my Full Size M&P9. My options look like the factory S&W barrel or one from Storm Lake. Which is the better way to go?

UPDATE: I found a Gemtech threaded barrel (a S&W factory one that they check out and package with a thread protector) and purchased that. Price wasn't bad. Only about $5 higher than what Gemtech sells them for.

I would buy whichever I could locate. Threaded pistol barrels are as scarce as $100 AR lowers ... almost impossible to find. I think S&W factory barrels come in either LH metric or 1/2x28. Good luck.

where are you finding barrels for it. I have not een ale to find a threaded arrel for my MP9 fullsize anywhere. Not even bothering to look for mags.

Call. I got one direct from Smith and Wesson on the day of the Sandy Hook stuff. $140ish.
