I have a savage .22. And a liberty constitution im running on it. Well I took the can apart and screwed just the core on barrel and the threads run all the through the screw part of core sticking into first open area of core. Using a standard crush washer off of 1 of my ar 15. It quiets down alot. But I think it should be even more quiet than it is. Just thinking if barrel threads to far in suppressor maybe it wont work as good. Any thoughts?

Spacer

This is what you need.  I found a few different makers, and this one is the best.  Bonus - it's on sale.

ETA:  The barrel threading in too far may also shorten the life of the first baffle.

You didn't post a pic so I'm not sure what were talking about here, but depending on what you're dealing with, if a spacer is too large you could use a cut washer.
