Does anyone have supressing experienced with this glock? I was either going to get the Glock 19 (which I know will run fine) but I also wanted something for 2 for 1 deal so I could carry it also... I don't want a carry gun that won't run the suppressor that defeats the purpose of having a host for the suppressor. Thanks!

I use a glock 19 barrel that I had threaded for my Glock 26 and it has worked perfectly with my Trident  suppressor.

I read somewhere that you could do that, but why would you when you can get a glock 26 threaded and extended?

I bought a threaded barrel for my Glock 19, so I had the original lying around and sent it to ADCO to be threaded.  Threading the G19 barrel was $65 while have the original G26 barrel extended would have been $155.  It worked well enough that I have left it in even while carrying it.

+1.  I like the factory Glock better than an aftermarket.  Polygonal bore, Tennifer, no fitting issues.

Runs fine.  I had a much larger POI shift than with the full-sized Glocks, though.  I eventually sold the barrel, as I find I didn't ever run the gun suppressed.  With the big long can on the end, you loose the "small package" of the G26.  So why not use a gun with a full-sized grip?

Yeah if I get the g26, I would either send it off to get extended and thread or just buy a stormlake or something but that could cost around $250. I might just buy a g26, get an factory g19 and send it to adco to thread. Does the suppressor and barrel a decent length away? I don't want something that had a big gap in between.

They cut it down to make it look normal....No big gaps.

Yeah, I think I am leaning towards the G26. I just hope it doesn't give me problems. I am a very small petite guy, so G19 would be a little harder to conceal unless I make it my home defense gun...

OP, you may want to look into the Thompson Machine Poseidon or a similar micro can. I'm planning to get one for my G26. Already have an Osprey9 for my G19's. Performance on the micro cans is pretty limited before sound suppression suffers, but the Poseidon/G26 combo makes a nice compact package and looks pretty bad ass too.

Have you tried suppressing the g26 with your osprey? If you have did it come to any problems? I already have a tirant 9 coming end of this month so to get another suppressor, I won't know what glock to get till another 6 months. I just want to know if it has any problems.

I have not. I haven't bought a threaded bbl for it yet.

If you do within the next month or month and half, let me know! My Tirant comes home either this month or next. I already got a Walther P99c and Springfield XDM ready to go.

Probably won't happen in the near future. Got way too many projects in the works right now.I'm sure you know how that goes. Gotta buy an AAC SDN6 soon, and some other stuff. Damn suppressor disease is WAY worse than BRD!

Can you flip a coin for me? I am so stuck inbetween the 2 glocks, Glock 19 and Glock 26

I am so tempted in the G19, I think I will get one for suppressed and bedroom security.
