I am in need of a decent suppressor wrap for my 762SDN-6. Anyone have one they can recommend, or would it be better to make my own.
I was considering using exhaust pipe wrap, and nomex cloth, but maybe I am off base with my idea. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

R

What is your objective in wrapping it?

It's interfering with the scope picture. There is a heat mirage coming off of it, plus it will be easier to take off in a hurry...

Not a "wrap" precisely, but these silicone suppressor covers have worked really well for me (both in reducing mirage, and making handing of a hot suppressor safer).

I have run hundreds of rounds through one in a day and not caused any damage to it whatsoever.

Did I see you using that cover at the Ephrata 3-gun?

If you attend the match next year, introduce yourself and you can check it out.

+1 on this. I have shot about 300 rounds back to back out of a can with one of those on it and it holds up great. It does help alot with taking the can off when its hot.

I considered one of these "Griptastic" covers. Bowers told me they would not melt, even with full auto fire.

eta: sorry, didn't realize this was the same product as already mentioned.
