Admittedly, I've been critical of AAC since I bought mt 762SD. I was upset with the abrupt change from 18T to 51T after they told me that they wouldn't be swapping that for the "foreseeable future", which was actually about 30 days after that statement and 30days after my form 4 went out.

Fast forward till when I finally got the can and was able to shoot. After about 100 rounds through my M1A using a 18T brake on a Delta P Designs adaptor I had a very slight end cap strike. I was sure that the can backed off the mount as I had the thing looked at by several people. But, just in case I pulled the brake and sold the M1A. It sucked as a suppressor host. In its place, I ordered a LT OBR.

I contacted Mike Mers with AAC and explained the end cap strike and explained that it was minor. He asked if it bothered me, and offered to have it looked at if I shipped it back. I did and they fixed the minor problem and replaced the springs. Only cost me shipping. This was good service and did not take a long time for turn around, though I wasn't paying attention.

Fast forward again to this week. I contacted Mers awhile back asking about a deep socket brake for my OBR. He told me that wasn't an option, but did provide me a stainless spacer and a set of shims for my current brake. These were shipped by the current CS rep at no charge to me. I was willing to pay, but they took great care of me no questions asked. This was above and beyond what I expected and I wanted to post about my positive experience.

In addition, the 762SD worked VERY well on my OBR. The poi shift was about 4" at 100yds and was repeatable. Sound reduction was execellent on this gun and the brake worked as well as the surefire brakes I've shot. While I still contend that the AAC mounts leave a bit to be desired, I have a renewed faith in my can.

definitely props to MM, I assume he's getting hundreds of emails/phone calls per day.

I'm the first to admit when I've been wrong, and I was wrong.  I've posted that I have "buyers remorse" over my can for the last year, which was wrong of me.  The thing works as advertised!  Great can for the money for sure.  Looking forward to using it on a .300 SBR next.  Thanks Mike, keep up the good work man.
