So how long after you are approved does it take for the stamp to get to your dealer and how long before you should be worried about it?

Usually within a week or two. If a month goes by, call up. They won't do anything about it until a month has passed anyways.

In November It took mine 27 days to get from WV to PA so yours still maybe on the way. If it's lost your dealer can request a copy be sent but ATF likes you to wait 30 days after date of approval to request it.

I'm more worried about the airheaded dealer misplacing my stamp more than the USPS. The guy I have been dealing with has really irritated me to no end.

This.  The examiner has 30 days to mail it back to you.

When my sparrow was approved I waited a solid 3 1/2 weeks after I heard "approved" on the other end of the phone.  Imagine how awesome that was.

The wait time seems to vary from time to time.  A lot of posts talk about days or weeks.  I think you are correct in suspecting the 'dealer' delay in addition to the mailing delay.

As for me my last purchased is chronicled below:

7. Approved Date: January 23/2012
8. Examiner: Albert Lamberger
9. Stamp Mailed: January 25, 2012
10. Stamp Received: January 27, 2012

I was happy with this.  I got a call from the dealer the afternoon of the 27th and had the suppressor in my hands within the hour.
