My LWRC SPR / M4-2000 jams (FTF) with all 62gr or 55gr ammo. It will function with 69gr ammo. I have tried a H, H2, and H3 buffer. I have tried both a regular recoil spring and a heavy recoil spring. I have also tried various combinations of springs and buffers. When it functions suppressed and unsuppressed it ejects at 2 o'clock. I'm out of ideas and need help on this one..

What mags are you using?

+1 Try a new or different mag
Also, try an upgraded extractor spring/ black extractor insert/ O-ring and see if that changes anything if you don't have one already.

I've mixed my mags up. Mostly I use P-Mags but I've tried several other mil-spec that I know to work in other rifles.

Call AJ at LWRC first thing in the morning. Give him as many details as possible. He will get you squared away, or help you figure out what to change. My SPR is 100 percent with my SPR-M4.

For clarity...are you saying that it has FTF issues with AND WITHOUT the can? Or just WITH the can?  Either way, AJ or one of the guys will help you work it out. Something isn't right.

What nineisfine said.

Either call LWRC or ask this question on their forum...you'll get an answer from the guys in the factory.

Called LWRC today. They issued a return label and will fix it there. This is a good day, now a wait for the return. They seem like good people to work with.

It functions without the can. But it will not function with the can. It also will not hold open after the last round.

They ARE good people, and the SPR is a fantastic rifle. I hate that the one you got had problems, but it happens. I appreciate that you aren't disgruntled about it. You will love it when it comes back and runs like it should.

Any update on the issue?

Yep. I sent the gun to them. They received it on Friday December 30th. I received notice that the gun was shipped back to me January 6th. The rifle should be here the 10th. One week turn around during the holidays seems pretty good to me. Now lets see if it works. I'll post soon about it.

What wrong with it?

Sounds like over gassed?  Possible gas port issue.

meh, I knew their claim of "self regulating gas system" was bullshit when they said it half a decade ago.

Well it made it to the range today. The repair sheet said they had opened up the gas ports, however they did not do that. They sent me a new upper. Turn around was a week. It shot like the ads promised. Not a single bobble all day, with anything I put through it.It  worked suppressed, unsuppressed supported and unsupported. I have no complaints at all. Anytime something is manufactured you can get a dud. LWRCI stood behind their product and made it right without any hurdles for me to jump through. No, they didn't give me any swag but they made it right. I'm happy it is truly a tack driver.
