I just got my Draco C and will start my trust next week, I plan on having it SBR with underfolder, and I would like to add a suppressor to it... I was told that the Red Jacket Model BMF-AK-SS is one of the best in the market, so I'm considering it.... (also looking for other options, on the high end level)
However I have a few legal questions: I'm in Florida, if I buy a can from Red Jacket, do I have to pay 2 transfers (from them to my in state class 3 dealer) or only 1 transfer fee??? Thanks in advance |

Thanks in advance I would look at some other companies' .30 cal cans and try to hear the RJF can before you buy. I've heard NO good things about RJF cans, but I've never heard one myself, so take that with a grain of salt. |

I just spoke with a friend and was told AK's are hard to suppress, I've asked RJF how many decibels would their can suppress and they didn't know the answer... that got me a bit worried... it should be the first thing on their specs... does anyone has any experience with suppressor for AK's???? |

You may consider doing a search for "Red Jacket" or "Sons of Guns" on this site. That may make up your mind pretty quickly. |

I guess I'll buy a suppressor for my Remington 700p.... any suggestions on a good one?? |
| I know that there are guys who love their silenced AKs and to them I say go for it, but the design of the AK does not lend itself as a good silencer host. The gas moves into the gas block and then is vented along with the noise. Add to that the additional back pressure of the silencer...any way, they look super cool, but with their poor silenced performance and often non-concentric threading (from the factory) I would recommend passing. This from a fellow SBR'ed Draco owner. |

You just have to pay one tax stamp. Dealer to dealer transfer tax free. However, your dealer will charge you to do the transfer. Thanks... I don't have a dealer yet.. what is the going transfer rate???? It will range form $25-$200. I think $50 is fair. Look around maybe you can find a dealer that has something you want in stock . You will get the suppressor faster and the first transfer will already be included in the price. You will just have to pay the $200 tax stamp. |
