I was not following that blowup closely enough but industry people got banned over that? Wow.
Nutshell from what I saw: MM posted his testing results, certain folks claimed his testing wasn't "correct" due to the equipment he was using, add eggs and flour, cook at 350 for an hour for instant dramarama. I'd be interested to know which industry people were banned, the last I saw of that thread was winding down... |

| As soon as I saw the thread title and first post I knew where that thread was headed. My psychic powers were correct and the ensuing internet purse fight ended as they always do. Too bad because once someone sifted through the cat fight there was some interesting information on how sound testing was actually performed/calculated. |

For the record, nobody got banned. Some companies were advertising without a proper account and got their accounts temporary locked. I've spoken via email with all of them, and they seem to understand the lines that were crossed and have assured me it will not happen again. I believe all of those accounts have been unlocked, and as long as the unauthorized advertising and sales are kept off the site, the issue is over. |
