New to suppressors and know nothing so bear with me please.

Anyone have the Gemtech Trek suppressor?

Im looking for something for my AR. Something "reasonably priced".

Also, I was looking but I didnt find the exact process of buying a suppressor.

THANKS!

I have a Trek and liked it so much that I purchased a Titanium Trek for GEMTAX. Email me if you have any questions

Previous to the Trek I got a G5, G5-t, HVT & Quicksand.  I think they all have their uses & place.  The Trek goes great on my 10.5" SBR & doesn't cost as much to implement as I don't need a $95 bi-lock for each host.

Performance is great - really tames the SBR pressure & have even shot it a few times on my 22-250 (26", be warned Gemtech does not warranty the use of the trek with the 22-250 cartridge).

I like mine a lot!

It's got a relatively bassy report compared to other suppressors on the market.  My ears certainly aren't scientific tools, but they like the Trek!

Taking into account what Gemtech and Dr. Phil Dater have noted, I try to keep volumes of fire on this suppressor "reasonable", 4 mag dumps being the worst i've treated it.

Figured there would never be an occasion where i'd need more than 120 suppressed rifle rounds, LOL

I've got a YHM Phantom of the thread mount variety. Been a great suppressor for me, I've used on my 10.5" for thousands of rounds and also my 20" prairie dog gun. With the 20" I'll shoot it all day with no earplugs. On the 10.5" if I am going to be shooting hundreds of rounds I still wear hearing protection. Bought it from Exeter Arms here in NE for about $450 around 4 years ago.
