I bought a Mite when it first came out and I'm like some Mite owners, I was not to impressed when I shot it beside other .22 cans. Other than subsonic ammo is there anything I can do to make it a little quieter? YHM doing any upgrades? I haven't surfed the suppressor boards for awhile. Just curious.

YHM does not have an upgrade that I know of. My MITE sealed up on me, so I have been debating on sending it to Liberty for them to put their baffle stack into it with the retrofitting they do.

I put anti-sieze all up on the Mite threads and I still had trouble opening mine and I always did while it was still warm. Unfortunately the last time I took it out I didn't open it, I bet it's locked tite.

I am assuming a new form 4 and $200 tax would have to be paid to do an upgrade from Liberty correct? If you do it please let us know.

Is gel and stuff ok for .22? I figured that would make a worse mess.

Just one thing to help the Mite owners.  After about every mag you shoot through it, use the take down tool and turn it back and forth to keep it broke loose.

Curious as to why the Mite's lock up (seems common with them)?

Loosening/tightening the end cap after every magazine is retardedly excessive.
Anyone tried anti-seize compound on the threads? It isn't expensive and can be
had at most automotive stores.

Mine lock up was due to carbon/lead buildup in the can.  Hit it with kroil over night and then Put it in the oven and heated it to 300.  It came apart fairly easy - don't forget the oven mit!

No, you would not need a new form 4 or $200 tax unless they screw up the tube (serialized part) OR change the caliber.  I have had several .22 suppressor core upgrades/replacements and never paid anything but shipping.
