| I am getting ready to build a 14'5 AR with a pinned AAC 51t flash hider. I will be using my AAC M4-2K for this rifle. I plan on putting a Noveske switch block on it. I was wondering if with the switch block, would it still be a good idea to also use a PRI gas buster charging handle. Or does the switch block take care of most the blow back when using the M4-2K?. |

I have a Really good feeling you might want to wait until after the AAC shoot before you purchase a switchblock......there maybe something coming out that is cheaper and better than the switchblock to get the gas out of your face...... Can you share any more details, please? |
| Major, I wish I could, but I may have said too much already, I will say that if anyone is in the market for a "gas regulating device" there will be some new products at the event so just check them out before making a switchblock purchase. Having said that, there is nothing wrong with the switchblock, it is a awesome piece of equipment, just know more options for regulating gas will be availible very soon |

We'll be at the Shoot - could you possibly (if it's not revealing too much) name the manufacturer - I wouldn't want to miss it (we're going to be very busy). |

To be released in 2012
THE W.A.R. UPPER RECEIVER We are excited with our production of the WarFighter Adjustable Receiver (TM). The W.A.R is our patent pending upper receiver system, created for suppressed direct impingement AR15/M16 rifles. The W.A.R. is designed to extremely reduce blow back in the shooters face, to extend the life of your AR parts, greatly reduce fouling AND gives an average 2.5 db reduction at the shooters ear with all 5.56 suppressor brands tested. We will post more info on our website in the following months. from thier facebook page... |

Cool new idea. Isn't it basically a switchblock in a different location? I got an upper with a switchblock earlier this year and I love it. |

Is the device itself the only real mod to the upper rec.? Maybe a shorter gas tube or one designed for the device? Is it possible for this to be a retrofit device and work on SR25 and other 308 platforms? Can't wait for more details. Wes I'd like to see the answers to these questions as well. In your opinion what are the advantages of this system over the Noveske switchblock? Thanks! |

What makes this better? |

Im not trying to say its better, just and alternative, I didnt build it so cant answer all your questions, advantages over the switchblock is that you can use any gas bock you want to include flip ups, It will be cheaper if you are doing a build. It will be cooler to the touch to switch between settings after rapid fire, you will be able to swap barrel sizes and not have to purchase a new gas block "OD" sizes. just what I came up with off the top of my head, im looking forward to testing it myself
like I said, it definately a alternative |

It does look interesting, and I would love to play with one in person; more of a T&E thing. One thing I hope they did is to allow the user to tune the "reduced gas" setting" on the switch. A 16" rifle with a carbine gas system and a suppressor is going to need a different amount of gas control then a 14.5" mid-gas system with a suppressor.
