If you plan to keep the can on 24/7, won't matter. You should NEVER keep the suppressor on the rifle after a shooting session. You should always remove the suppressor from the host after shooting it to let it cool and to prevent the condensation that forms during the cooling process from starting rust. I use the brake on my shorter host weapons for the added protection to the suppressor core. This is something I've preached for years. Without the suppressor the brake is certainly louder than a flash suppressor mount. I just deal with it; it is worse for those around me than me as the shooter. Mark |
