I'm trying to decide which threaded barrel to get for a Glock 19 host.  It looks like a lot of people go with Lone Wolf, but there are more expensive options out there.

I figure that since I'm dropping significant coin on a top notch can, I don't want to skimp on the barrel. So my question is this: is the Lone Wolf barrel fine, or are the other more expensive options worth the extra money?

What do you recommend?

I suggest staying away from EFK Firedragon. I got one for my Sig. Took almost 4 months to get it. I tried calling and emailing them several times and never got a response from them. Once I got the barrel it did not fit right. I was told the barrel was a drop in but may need "some fitting" depending on my gun. Well the barrel was not a drop in. The feed ramp had so much extra that it would not even fit into the gun. I again tried calling and emailing and never got a response from them. Now a smith has to fit it and wait another month for the barrel/gun with an added cost of $60 to more then $100.

Like everyone above said - order a black LWD barrel and you won't have the logo on it.

We've got LWD barrels on all of our demo Glocks (all 6 of 'em) and they're great (and priced RIGHT).

I have a Gemtech barrel for my G21. No suppressor yet, but I like it.

Your not skimping by going lone-wolf.  Anyone who told you that is ignorant.  Gemtech endorses the lonewolf barrels and they wouldn't do this if they were not quality made.

With that said, the gemtech barrels are very similar in price to the lone wolf barrels. Either one will suit you fine.

I use a lone wolf bbl on my G27.
