OK, I am very close to purchasing my first suppressor.  I have done almost 2 years worth of reading, everything from
db levels to tone, to all the personal experience here and on silencer talk.

I abide by the buy once/cry once philosophy.

Never really thought about how much barell is needed for the suppressor.

I have a BCM 11.5" with a Larue 10" rail.

I've settled on an AAC M4-2000 and the Blackout 51T brake.  If i'm reading the specs on AAC's website... I am short .025" of barrell space?

If so my research takes me to SF556-212 as a viable option???

I though I had all my info: I's dotted and T's crossed...

Any advice? Other options???

Many have that suppressor on a 10.5" barrel and 9" rail. I'm sure you'll be fine. Hopefully somebody has that exact setup can confirm.

If you are looking at the overall length and added length specs, you realize the length added measurement is the length past the end of the muzzle device and not the bare muzzel right?

no i did not realize that.  i was thinking length added from the end of the bbl measurement...

based on that i have plenty of real estate.

That setup will work fine.
