I've been looking for a multi-cal suppressor and I thought I had it all figured out and was going to get the AAC 762SD but I recently came across the Gemtech Quicksand. Anyone know how they compare? I know the Quicksand is more expensive but if its more durable or quieter I'd pay the extra $$. But I have one concern I've read about the erosion on SBR's and I do not yet have one but I'm getting a 12.5" 5.56 rifle and Gemtech doesn't offer a brake to help that out. Am I worrying too much about this?
On another note how does the bi-lock mount compare to the AAC mounts. |

| I have a Sandstorm that I use on my 300wsm...I also have a 762SD. When I have more time, I am going to test the POI shift on both set-ups. I am hopeful that the Sandstorm out-performs the 762SD because I want to use one can for both guns. The Sandstorm is rated for both calibers where the 762SD is not... |

I'm waiting on a Quicksand and I'm thinking about getting a mount for my Model 70 in .300wsm for hunting season next year. |

I'd be really interested to hear which suppressor is quieter. Any opinions on which mounting system you like better? Is the 762SD consistent, by that I mean if you take the suppressor off and put it back on is the zero the same? |
