I really want to pick up a BattleComp for my 11.5" AR, but I also want to put a can on it early next year. I don't want to spend $150 on a muzzle device only to switch it out

for an AAC brake.

I heard some mention of a can that was compatible with the BC, but it might have been just speculation. Anyone know more info?

I believe I read that the Gemtech HALO is compatible with the Battle Comp.  I'd start your research there.

I asked them. They said it's a few thousands too small, but they're coming out with a HALO compatible version soon.

I heard BattleComp was planning to produce a bi-lock version. Anyone know anything about that?

Did you ask Battlecomp or Gem-Tech? I have the same amount of play between my battlecomp and a2 flashhiders (with my HALO).

ETA: all I could find on Gem-Tech's website is that the inert HALO will mount to the Battlecomp.

Do you really want to limit yourself to whatever fits the BattleComp?

BattleComp is the only muzzle brake that I could stand on a SBR. Other brakes have too much concussion on SBRs for me.

With a bilock in the works (and possibly others down the road), I'd still be holding out on deciding on a can around a battlecomp.   Heck, going TTB/NT4 is pretty close on cost, and similar performance (after $400 of tax stamps)

I'm concussion sensitive (makes me flinch like crazy) but I like the AAC brake. I haven't tried the Brakeout.
