Sending in my first paperwork. Can I send a money order or a cashiers check?

Yes, either is fine. They are not picky about taking your money.

I always write a personal check unless I don't want the wife knowing about it...

Paying with a check lets you track if they received it. Plus it is proof that the process has begun!

I send a USPS MO. No waiting for your check to clear..shortens the wait by a few days. Just put deliver confirmation on your envelope. Once it gets there the process starts.

They open your packet- take out bank note- stamp that money was there- move to pile to be sent to WV. They do not wait to see if your check clears. I know people who got the stamp back the same day their check cleared the bank. It is not an urban legend- seen the bank statement.
