What is the general opinion of the quick detach system of the gemtech hvt?  I am looking to buy a .308 can with a quick detach system.  I am wanting to use this same can on a .308 bolt action rifle an AR in 6.8spc and a .223 AR and .223 Bolt action rifle.  That is why I want the quick detach capabilities.  I have done some research on that specific can.  I have read that the quick detach system can hurt acurracy.  Does anybody have this expirience or any expierience with this can?  I am thinking of this can because my dealer is only a Gmtech dealer and has this can in stock but if this is the case I will pass.  Thanks

The QD is indexed by lugs of different sizes so that it will only go on one way.

I use the HVT on my LTR, and two 7.62x39 AR platforms and have no complaints, other than there is no price break for buying additional QD adapters after you buy the can.....

I run the HVT on my FN A2 SPR, and it rocks. The FN is a very accurate rifle with or without the can

I run a QD HVT on my Rem 700 .308 LTR, Yugo M70AB2 7.62x39 AK, a Ruger M77 22-250 and several AR-15's in varying flavors.  I'd say go for it, I haven't had any issues with mine.
