FWIW, I send several rifle barrels & 1 pistol for threading for suppressors.
The rifle barrels took almost 4 months & I still don't have my pistol back––no reply to emails about when to expect it. Can anyone recommend anyone with a 2 month or less turn-around? Thanks, |

ADCO Great guys, great work, quick turnaround, and site supporters –– what more could you ask? Full disclosure: I had TT do a threading job (back before they got so backlogged) and I was absolutely thrilled with their work, FWIW. But if you don't want to wait that long, ADCO did several jobs for me all at once and got them back in a surprisingly short amount of time, and their work was great –– zero complaints. |

all of this:

Tornado is a small one or two man business. They do great work and I use them for all my needs. But then I'm local and can just drop stuff off. -Mark. I'm pretty sure he gets local's stuff turned around quicker, mostly because the fewer people that come in to "chat" and ask when they're stuff is gonna be ready, the sooner he gets to all the mailed stuff. He was shut down for almost two weeks because he was out of town, if that helps. I just picked up a rifle from him last week and asked about how busy he is. He said that despite the economy, he is swamped. He can't believe how much stuff is coming in from people for him to work on. I'm sure the other places that get mentioned here are just as good, but I gotta tell you, after meeting Mike in person, I would send stuff to Tornado Tech if I didn't live so close... sorry it's taking so long for you to get it back... That's why he's busy; he's good. cheers, Benji |
