Another post indicated that:
Well, according to quickload for a 55gr FMJ load similar to M193, the muzzle pressure for 11.5" barrel is 16658 psi and it is 18370 psi for a 10.5" barrel.. which is a difference of 1712 psi. As for how accurate or significant that is, I don't know!
I'm trying to determine if 11.5" vs. 10.5" is significant, purely from muzzle blast pressure standpoint, in helping reduce suppressor wear. Any input appreciated. Thanks. |
