I have a BCM 11.5" upper and it will host an M4-2000 once the paperwork comes back. My question is, is it crucial to send it off to ADCO or someone to check the threading for concentricity or is mounting the can and looking down the barrel from chamber to muzzle sufficient? I don't mind sending it off, but I don't want to disassemble my upper if I don't have to.

it should be fine.

Shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure you look down the tube before you put any rounds through the can. You shouldn't have any problems with BCM barrels. If it were a lower quality gun I would advise differently.
