That is indeed a nice setup and Hollywood quiet as well. Never scene chrome but I would imagine it could take the heat.....performance headers on cars are chromed....which gets me to thinking I wonder if you could jet hot coat a can....?

| Could be sure? But I don't know. That looks an awful lot like plain aluminum, as a movie can probably would be. I don't know how how barrels get, but I did almost melt a M16A2 gas tube once... saying it was a glowing neon red would be a disservice to the real temperature! |

I am not sure titanium will hold chrome well, so I can't speak about the TiRant suppressor. I have seen many of AAC's suppressors before they were sent out for coloring. They can be polished to look like chrome but as soon as you get it really hot your chrome like finish will rainbow. Even chrome performance headers have that rainbow effect closest to the heat source.
