Has anyone had experience with this suppressor?  I am considering getting one.  What are the good and bad things of this unit?

Thanks!

I own one and it has good sound reduction but it is heavy. To heavy for an SBR. You may want to consider a Gemtech M402. It is 8 oz lighter and about a half an inch shorter.

I have one as well.
Heavy.
Bought an AAC M4-2K and never use the Raider anymore.
Lighter and quieter to my ear with less blowback.

Thanks for the heads up.  I have a local selling a near new one for $400.  Just wanted to know if it was worth it.  I already have an American Mfg Triple X Warrior and I was hoping the Raider would have been a significant step up.  Sounds like I should keep looking?

Thanks!

In the suppressor industry, especially with older designs like the AWC unit when a unit is heavy, it's usually overbuilt.  Most likely parts are much heavier than they need to be.

That may make it not worth buying.  Someone could probably take it apart and turn spacers down to make the unit 4-5 ounces lighter but that adds cost.

$400 is a decent price for a silencer, but the weight may be a problem for you.

All that and a the AWC is overpriced too.

Yep, that's why it is collecting dust.
I have plans to use it as a blaster can for when I get a RR M16.
