Who makes a good general purpose 45 cal suppressor? I want the impossible, a good MAC 10 can that I can also slip on a pistol if I get the urge.

Anyone?

You're not going to find a "good" MAC 10 can that will function on any pistol with a moving-barrel design. Conversely, you aren't going to find any .45 pistol can that does very well on a MAC10. Pretty much any .45 pistol can needs to be shot wet to get any kind of decent sound reduction, and your wetting agent would be used up pretty quickly with about half of a mag through the MAC.

You would be better off getting two dedicated cans - one for each type of platform.

It will cost more, but in the long run you will be much happier.

+1 on what he said. As a dedicated Pistol can, I would go AAC EVO 45 or SWR HEMS II. Or double your money and get a KAC can.

the evo 45 comes with a spacer so it can be shot on a browning drop down barral or a solid mount barral that is on a mac. I use the evo 45 on my USP 45 tactical and on mu USC Carbine.
