Ok, I am brand new to suppressors.  I just had my form 4 filled out and was going to send it out when I saw that 'Type of Firearm' was listed as "Supressor" instead of "Suppressor".

Is this going to cause a problem?  Can I just change it or should I head back to the gun shop?

It should say "Silencer", as that is what the BATFE considers them.

Based on some personal expierence (such as spelling my name wrong), I don't think they look at spelling too much....

In 4 weeks it may eventually be on an examiners desk. I am now at the 9 week mark.

I forgot to write the transferee's name and address on one of the form 4's. I didn't know this until I got it back. With a stamp and a signature. I guess the NFA isn't as annal retentive as every one thinks.

My dealer changed the data with a previous form on his computer... he forgot he left the other manufacturer as "any additional marks or engravings" or whatever that section is called.  When it came back approved the ATF said just draw a line through it since it was a mistake.  I dont think they are going to care about spelling.
