Can I take my can off and shoot without putting a flash hider or anything on the end of my threaded barrel.  I won't hurt the end of the barrel or the threads by firing it through a bare end.

The rifle in question is a 9mm Olympic K9-GL

thanks,

Nah it will be fine, it's good to have something to cover the threads mainly if you will be involved in some kind of 'rough and tumble' shooting where you risk hitting your muzzle or dropping the gun on a hard surface or something. Firing the gun in itself will not cause damage to the threads.

I don't have to worry about damaging the threads since the end of the barrel is inside my rail (5" barrel).

Shooting without a suppressor?
I've heard of this....
