I want to sell my Gemtech G-5 but don't know what its worth. It is used with 50 rounds through it. comes with manual. original box but does not come with QD mount. In good condition.

What do you guys think?

Try selling it in your hometown equipment exchange first. That way you can save an extra tax. If you sell out of state, you have to pay $200 for the silencer to leave the state to a dealer, then the new buyer gets to pay the next $200 transfer fee plus whatever the dealer charges for his part. Selling it in state lets you deal direct with the buyer and there would be only one transfer fee.

So what are they going for used in any state?

There's probably not enough of a used market to really say. Take what you paid for the can, subtract the cost of a new mount from Gemtech, knock off another 10 to 20% and that'd probably be a good starting point.
