If you get a barrel with the correct threads, and a fixed barrel, i don't see why not.
Most of the SWD suppressors are louder and heavier, as they are an older design.

With a Browning HP, the barrel tils. Without a Neilsen or other recoil device, you could actually cause damage to the firearm.

With suppressors, you're best off spending as much as you can afford. Resale value on suppressors is low. So, buy once, and buy decent.

If you've already got the SWD and the barrel, go for it. If not, i'd get something better suited.

Finding a barrel for a Hi-power or Sig in 3/4x10 might be hard. and if you do find one, it'll be pricey. Not to mention, with coarse threads like that, you run a high risk of it coming unthreaded and getting baffle/endcap strikes.
