Few questions if anyone has any information to offer. I'm looking at purchasing my first suppressor. Either a Gemtech Halo or G5 most likely. In addition to my AR's, I would hope to be able to use this on would be a FN FS2000, and therein lie my questions. As a foreign made rifle, where can I look to definitively establish the legaility of suppressing it under 922(r). Similarly, where should I look to establish the permissibility of either modifying the existing factory muzzle device to accept a suppressor, or removing the factory permanently mounted muzzle device and replacing it with another permanently mounted device that is compatible with the suppressor I purchase. Any thoughts? Or should I contact the BATFE directly for information (shudder) Thanks for any guidance. |
