| I am looking at suppressors for my .308 and cannot find any within my state. What costs are involved when transfering one from another state to my state? |
|
you could do most of it by mail. you could mail him the money. when the suppressor gets in, he could fill out the form 4 with your info, and mail it to you. depending on the transfer type you may have some more things to do. for example if it's a personal transfer, you would have to do the cleo signoff, photo, fingerprints before you send it off to atf with the tax money. when the approved form comes back you would then go and pick it up. so it's possible to only see the dealer once. |
All of it except the actual pickup, in which you have to do FTF, either at his shop, or a gun show in the state. |
