It will mount on an AR10T. My coworker bought a JET for his AW 308. I like the idea of it being made mostly with Titanium. Is there a comparison chart or buyers guide that someone has posted? |

If titanium is the goal I would go with this one. www.qsmsilencers.com/308%20suppressor%20stats.html |

I have a Jet .308 can and like it. But, depending on where you live in this state, you may look up Shark Suppressors. www.sharksuppressors.com/ I have heard from a few people that I know that it is lighter and quieter. If you can line up a range day with the owner, he'll let you shoot a Shark and Jet side by side. |
| I have the first Shark .308 titanium suppressor which David Whitson sold, and it is quieter and lighter and costs less than the Jet .308 titantium suppressor, and it comes apart for cleaning and maintenance. I sold my Jet after getting the Shark. David Whitson has improved the Shark since I got mine, so they current Shark suppressors are even better than mine. If you are in Dallas, then meet David at the range sometime for a comparison. |

Are you going to possibly use the can on other host weapons? If so, you may want to consider a fast-attach can like the AAC 762-SD. Mounts are available in various thread pitches so you can easily swap the can to different hosts. I use mine on an AR (.5x28pti), Remington 700 (5/8x24) and an FAL (9/16x24L). If you want a thread-mount can, I'd recommend the SWR Omega 30 and the AAC Cyclone. I have a buddy with both cans and they both sound about the same, but the Omega 30 has less (almost none) POI shift (at least on his rifles), if that matters to you. Both are nice, well-built cans from companies with great service and will be around in the future if you need that great service. I'd like to check out a Shark sometime. I have no personal experience with one, but hear good things. Mark |

I have SWR Omega 30, but I like Shark better. I have shot both. Shark is lighter, a little shorter and smaller (I think, don't have time to check or can't remember) and somewhat quieter to my ear. Some couldn't tell a difference between the two, as far as sound level is concerned. I guess, sound level is in the ears of the beerholder. |

I see about a 3" POI shift at 100-yards when using my 762-SD. This is an older can though and I'm hoping the newer, lighter weight model will result in less shift. It doesn't bother me that much though, because I never shoot the weapon without the can and the shift is always repeatable. ZERO shift would always be best, but repeatable is okay for me. I don't know what kind of shift Allen gets with his FAL and 762-SD. Mark |

I am patiently waiting to see what kind of shift 444 gets with one of those new 762SD cans. I have mounts for my .308 bolt gun, FAL, HK, and FR8. Waiting on two for the M1A. Will be able to switch the can out to whatever platform I want in seconds. For that matter I could also use it on my AR15s which have the same mount which also works on the M4-2000 but I could use the .308 can there if I wanted to. But, can't give you a performance report since I don't have the can yet. ![]() So, if you get a 4" shift at 100 yards I would assume you just click the rear sight elevation up one notch on the FAL and you are good to go ? In other words, move the rear sight from 200 meters to 300 meters ? |
