| I asked a dealer in Sioux Falls yesterday if they could get me a G5. He said yes but it would take a long time to get because they are backordered - filling a large contract for the 3rd Infantry division. Anyone else know anything about this? |
| I've had a G5 on order since early December. My dealer has advised it should be arriving shortly as he had seen that the order had just been charged to their credit card late last week. I don't see a 2 1/2 or 3 month wait as that long. My first suppressor (an M4-96D in 2001) took 9 months from Gemtech to the dealer and then 7 months for the Form 4 to approve. |
| John will you please give a comparison of the G5 and M4-96D for what they sound like when you have both. I have a M4-96D and think it sounds about the same as other offerings but the tone is lower which I like and want to know if this followed into the G5 production. |

The answer is: Yes, they are. My dealer received the shipment for the order that my G5 was in (paid in full) and it contained 2 of the 3 cans in that order. The G5 is listed on the invoice as "B/Order - Will issue serial number when available." No estimated delivery date was given. |
No need for that. I figure if you're backordered it's probably because the last time I checked, there was still a war on. I'm sure it will get here in good time. In the mean time, I will continue using my M4-96D. Thanks for the reply though. |
