Ok, here's the problem.  Manufacturers can, have and no doubt will change the dimensions of thier products all the time without making a big deal of it.  I also believe they post dimensions on their web sites that are "close".  In this case, the length published on the GemTech web site is 5".  I have it listed in my data base as 5.2".  That's enough of a difference to make a difference in how the pouch fits the can.  It's for this reason that I ask my customers to measure their particular suppressor.  Now maybe GemTech has shortened the length of the Outback II, so the published length is correct.  The trouble is I, and you, have no idea about the one you are getting until it actually shows up at your dealer.  This is by no means unique to GemTech and I have examples from most if not all of the makers.

I'd love to build you a pouch.  What neither of us want is for the pouch not to fit the can.  While I'm not in the business to turn you away, I'd rather you wait and measure your particular Outback II before placing your order.  This insures a proper fit, which makes you happy, and insures a happy customer, which makes us both happy.

I have a Gemtech Outback II which measures 5.1", and I have seen another which is papered on the Form 4 as 5.3".

Battlecloth is pretty quick to fill orders anyway, so why not wait for your dealer to get the can, measure it while you're waiting on the Form4, and send the measurements then. You'll most likely still have it long before you're approved.

Where can I find out more about Battlecloth pouches? Is there a site or link anyone can provide?
