Is that the 15th model?

What kind of adapter did you have to make to fit it on that 10/22?

I guess you just turned the barrel down on the MKII so that the sleeve could fit over it.  Did you do the same with the 10/22?

Very cool either way.

The barrels were contoured to be used as the collar.

I really like the MKII setup, that is really frickin' cool.

How much does that suppressor weigh?  Can the OPS can be cleaned by disassembly?

Clean shmean, the brake catches the unburnt powder, and the first 5.56 round will blow out everything else.  There is no reason for concern regarding cleaning.

Does OPS warranty it against baffle strikes?  What does it weigh??

Just a couple of notes. First, the 15th model suppressor is sort of overkill for a 22lr. It is 1.5" in diameter so it looks a bit big on a Mark 2. It is real quiet and if you can get a scope on it to see over the can it is alot of fun to shoot. Just wanted to show that you can use it on something besides an AR. Second, baffle strikes should not happen with a two point mount.

17oz.

I dont know of anything official, but I was told to not worry about it.    Eric and I took it out today and the balance of the metal pistol and the can is not bad at all.  It has a good first round "pop" but following shots are as quiet as any .22 can.  Holding the bolt shut with my thumb made it even quieter.

The accuracy is worth the weight, at 50' the shots were one on top of the other, when shot from a rest.

I would never suggest this to someone looking for a .22LR suppressor; but if you can only get 1 this something to consider.

Thanks for the answers.

Remember suppressors are like those potato chips, nobody can get just one.

An aftermarket barrel will tighten that group up a bit. Wish I could get a .45 to shoot like that.

I had noticed in another thread that you showed a pic of a flash hider mount for the Ops Inc can but it was down.  Can you repost a pic of the flash hider mount?

Sorry, you never saw that picture, nothing to repost.

Here I am with the Mk II and OPS INC 15th can.  VERY SWEET setup.  This was supersonic ammo.  Filmed with a Sony mini-DV camera.   ETA; you can hear some unsupressed 22LR in the background.

I shorten the barrel so that high velocity ammo is sub-sonic out of the Mark ll. It saves on ammo costs if you can buy regular high velocity ammo.

I was just looking at your Ops/ .22lr post, and thought that if you have the time on your hands you could probably machine the whole assembly/brake and collar out of the barrel as a solid, and simply port the barrel instead of the break.

It should be quieter with 1 or two 1/8" ports than with the break and save you money [for additional guns] too.

Dammit bigbore, I'm going to have to buy one of those things some day because of you.
